Background

During the mid-to-late growth stages of greenhouse cucumbers, the demand for nitrogen and functional nutrients increases significantly. When root absorption efficiency is limited or internal nitrogen metabolism is restricted, plants may exhibit growth stagnation, pale leaves, uneven internode spacing, and irregular fruit set and enlargement.

This demonstration focused on root drenching with ULTRA AMINOMAX to evaluate its effects on cucumber growth vigor, overall physiological activity, and nutrient utilization efficiency.

Before Application

Cucumber plants showed moderate growth, with some leaves lacking turgor and limited development of new fine roots. Overall growth rhythm was slightly slow.

15 Days After Application

The trial results showed that ULTRA AMINOMAX-treated cucumbers exhibited rapid and noticeable physiological responses:

• Above-ground growth:Plant growth rhythm accelerated significantly, internodes were evenly spaced, and growth direction was clear, with neither excessive elongation nor stunting. Stems were robust and well-filled, mechanical strength improved, apical shoots remained erect, and overall plant architecture became more coordinated and stable.
• Physiological activity:Leaf color deepened, leaf thickness increased, and leaf surface exhibited enhanced gloss and turgor. Photosynthetic efficiency and assimilate capacity were simultaneously improved. Plants recovered quickly and demonstrated enhanced tolerance to low temperatures and environmental fluctuations, maintaining steady and continuous growth.
