ULTRA FULVIC LQ—A great helper for promoting growth of hydroponic bok choy at low temperatures
Abstract:Demonstration results of ULTRA FULVIC LQ on low-temperature hydroponic bok choy show that after 15 days of use, the bok choy plants were full in shape, dark green in colour, grew uniformly, with longer and denser roots, and leaf length increased by 18.63% compared to competing products, showing outstanding growth promotion and stress resistance. ULTRA FULVIC LQ contains various organic active substances that strongly promote root development, enhance stress resistance, and improve quality, making it suitable for low-temperature hydroponic vegetable cultivation.

During the seedling establishment to rosette stage, pak choi has high nutrient and environmental requirements, making it prone to slow recovery, yellowing leaves, and pale colour; under stress, it easily wilts, suffers root rot, and growth stagnates. From the rosette to harvest stage, it has high demands for nitrogen, potassium, and calcium, which can lead to thin leaves, loose plant structure, heart burn, soft petioles, and uneven plant sizes, affecting yield and market quality.
This demonstration uses ULTRA FULVIC LQ applied hydroponically to investigate its effects on the growth, root vitality, and nutrient transport of bok choy, with a focus on observing its ability to promote seedling recovery, strengthen plant type, increase stress resistance, prevent tip burn, and reduce petiole softening, providing a scientific basis for the product's application on bok choy.
Before use, the young Chinese cabbage suffered from frost damage, the seedlings were weak, the leaves were wilted and yellowed with scorched edges, and the root system had low vitality and growth was stagnant; after frost, new leaves sprouted slowly, the plant was loose, leaves were thin and small, and its commercial value was poor.



The bok choy treated with ULTRA FULVIC LQ shows impressive growth, with a marked contrast to competing products, displaying a full plant shape, lush green leaves, and uniform growth with stable promotion effects; the control group, on the other hand, is small with sparse leaves, uneven growth, and far inferior growth performance.

ULTRA FULVIC LQ has a remarkable effect on root promotion; the roots of bok choy treated with it are long and dense, with well-developed primary and lateral roots and strong nutrient absorption capacity, while the roots in the control group are short and sparse, weakly developed, and have poor nutrient absorption and anchoring ability.

Randomly selecting 6 small cabbage plants for testing, the leaves in the ULTRA FULVIC LQ treatment group were 13.9mm longer than the control group, an increase of 18.63%, showing a significant difference, with a leaf elongation effect far surpassing competing products.
This hydroponic experiment confirmed that ULTRA FULVIC LQ significantly promotes the growth of pak choi at low temperatures, with effects superior to competing products. The pak choi treated with it exhibited strong plant structure, deep green leaves, uniform growth, well-developed roots, greatly enhanced nutrient absorption, and an 18.63% increase in leaf length, performing excellently in all aspects.
