ULTRA AMINOMAX + HUMICARE-Root-Promoting Type: Potato Seedling Stage Growth, Rooting, and Tuber Formation Program

2026-06-01

AbstractWhen applied via drip irrigation during the potato seedling stage, ULTRA AMINOMAX combined with HUMICARE-Root-Promoting Type significantly promotes uniform plant growth and greener, more expanded leaves, enhances root quantity and vigor, stimulates the development of new white roots and root hairs, and increases the formation of underground stolons, laying a solid foundation for subsequent tuber formation and yield improvement. Meanwhile, it improves the rhizosphere environment and enhances nutrient uptake efficiency.

ULTRA AMINOMAX + HUMICARE-Root-Promoting Type: Potato Seedling Stage Growth, Rooting, and Tuber Formation Program

Application Time: May 2026
Crop: Potato
Application Method: Drip Irrigation
Products Used: ULTRA AMINOMAX + HUMICARE-Root-Promoting Type
Application Dosage:

  • ULTRA AMINOMAX: 3 kg/ha
  • HUMICARE-Root-Promoting Type: 30 L/ha

Background

The seedling stage of potato is a critical period that determines the eventual yield. At this stage, the development rate of roots, the growth vigor of the aboveground parts, and the number of stolons formed directly affect the number of tubers and the proportion of marketable potatoes.

In some planting regions, low temperature, compacted soil, insufficient organic matter, or poor rhizosphere conditions can lead to uneven emergence, slow root growth, weak and yellowish seedlings, and fewer stolons. Especially when nutrient supply is inadequate or root vigor is weak during the seedling stage, tuber formation may be limited, tuber enlargement slow, and yield potential reduced.

This trial applied ULTRA AMINOMAX combined with HUMICARE-Root-Promoting Type via drip irrigation, aiming to evaluate their combined effects on promoting seedling growth, rooting, tuber initiation, and improving rhizosphere conditions.

Pre-Application Status

图片3.jpg 图片4.jpg

Seedlings in some plots showed weak growth and uneven plant size.

Root quantity was limited, new white roots developed slowly, and root hairs were underdeveloped, limiting nutrient uptake.

Some plants had pale leaves, slow growth, and fewer stolons, weakening the foundation for subsequent tuber formation.

Post-Application Status (10 Days Later)

Seedling growth was significantly enhanced compared with control plots, with improved plant uniformity, faster leaf expansion, and darker green leaves with luster.

Root quantity increased significantly, with more new white roots, well-developed root hairs, and improved root length and vigor.

It boosts the formation of pre-tuber structures with more robustly growing stolons.

Product Overview

ULTRA AMINOMAX

 图片9.jpg

ULTRA AMINOMAX is produced from non-GMO soybeans using advanced plant-based enzymatic hydrolysis technology. It contains up to 80% total amino acids, with 75–80% as free amino acids, which can be rapidly absorbed by crops to supply readily available nutrients.

The product is rich in multiple natural amino acids, which quickly participate in protein synthesis, energy metabolism, and stress recovery processes, making it especially suitable for fast seedling establishment, rooting, and growth recovery during the seedling stage.

HUMICARE-Root-Promoting Type

HUMICARE-Root-Promoting Type uses MAXMRT molecular recombination technology to scientifically combine highly active humic acids, seaweed extracts, and NPK nutrients.

This product provides root promotion, growth regulation, soil improvement, and nutrient supplementation, effectively enhancing root development, nutrient use efficiency, and rhizosphere conditions, laying the foundation for high-quality, high-yield crop production.
