ULTRA FULVIC LQ: Multi-Source Active Nutrition for Improved Tomato Growth and Quality

2026-08-28

Application Time: 2026
Crop: Tomato
Application Method: Drip Irrigation/Fertigation
Product: ULTRA FULVIC LQ
Application Rate: 15 L/ha/application, 2 applications in total

Application Background

Tomatoes have high demands for root activity and nutrient supply during the seedling, vegetative growth, and fruit expansion stages. Especially under greenhouse and open-field conditions in Yunnan, temperature fluctuations, water management, and continuous cropping can affect root development and nutrient uptake, potentially resulting in uneven plant growth, weak root activity, slow fruit expansion, and limited fruit quality improvement.

In this application, ULTRA FULVIC LQ was applied through drip irrigation/fertigation to evaluate its effects on root development, plant growth, stress tolerance, fruit expansion, and quality formation.

Performance Before Application

Before application, some tomato plants showed weak root activity and relatively poor plant vigor. As the crop progressed, increasing nutrient demands resulted in differences in leaf growth and overall plant uniformity in some areas. There was also room for improvement in the roots’ ability to absorb water and nutrients.

Performance After Application

After applying ULTRA FULVIC LQ, overall tomato plant growth improved, with increased root development, more fibrous roots, and stronger root activity, resulting in improved water and nutrient uptake.

Field observations showed that treated plants had more expanded leaves, more uniform leaf color, stronger plant vigor, and improved overall growth uniformity. During the subsequent growth period, fruit expansion performed well and fruit development was more uniform, providing a good foundation for yield formation and improved fruit quality.

Product Introduction

ULTRA FULVIC LQ is a multi-source organic biostimulant formulation developed based on CityMax’s MAXBIO Synergistic Platform. Using MAXMRT Molecular Recombination Technology, the product scientifically combines highly active humic acid, fulvic acid, seaweed extract, and small-molecular-weight enzymatic peptides, together with Alginate Oligosaccharide and multiple micronutrients.

The formulation is designed to provide comprehensive support for root development, nutrient uptake, and plant stress response, helping crops maintain vigorous growth under different growing conditions.

Product Features

● Rapid Root Development:Fulvic acid, seaweed extract, Alginate Oligosaccharide, and peptides work synergistically to promote the development of fibrous roots and root hairs, improving root activity and nutrient uptake.

● Enhanced Stress Tolerance:Multiple active ingredients support plant responses to environmental stress, helping tomatoes better adapt to high temperature, drought, salinity, and other unfavorable conditions.

● Efficient Nutrient Uptake:Fulvic acid and seaweed-derived active compounds help optimize the rhizosphere environment and promote the uptake and utilization of water, nitrogen, potassium, and other nutrients.

● Fruit Expansion & Yield:Peptides and other active compounds support plant growth and dry matter accumulation, promoting uniform fruit development and fruit expansion.

Frequently Asked Question: What can be done when tomato roots are weak and plants show poor growth?

When tomatoes show poor root development, weak plant vigor, or inefficient nutrient uptake, it is important to focus on improving the rhizosphere environment and strengthening nutrient management. Biostimulants containing fulvic acid, seaweed extract, and Alginate Oligosaccharide can be used to support root development, improve nutrient uptake, and enhance stress tolerance, helping tomatoes recover vigorous growth and providing a stronger foundation for subsequent fruit expansion and quality development.
